CNN has been covering the release of the name of the Obama VP all night.
It will be announced tomorrow ( Saturday) morning. The supporters will receive the news by text message and email before the Springfield, Illinois meeting.
According to CNN, Kaine and Bayh are off the list. Hillary Clinton has been told that she is not the vice-presidential candidate.

- foreign policy experience
- appeal to the blue-collar voters
- strong personality that will give the President a piece of his mind when needed
- excellent debater and strong at attacking his opponents
- a catholic, he might help sway this important voting block, which was traditionally Democratic but has been somewhat tending Republican
- gravitas
